Friday, October 20 

Free parking available at Peavine Parking Deck after noon. 

1:00 p.m - 4:00 p.m.: Family Weekend Info Desk

2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.:  Sessions

3:15 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.:  Sessions

4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m:  Sessions

8:00 p.m.: Emory Wind Ensemble

In this Family Weekend concert, the Emory Wind Ensemble presents the world premiere of celebrated filmmaker Nikoloz Kevkhishvili’s newest film, In Her Image, with an original score by Richard Prior, conducted by Paul Bhasin. Also, five brass soloists of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra perform together in a special rendition of Leonard Bernstein’s Mass in celebration of the Bernstein Centennial.

Saturday, October 21

8:00 a.m. Homecoming/Family Weekend 5K Run through Lullwater Park, Registration and start at SAAC, Clairmont Campus, Run begins at 9:00 a.m. To register: https://runsignup.com/emory

9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Sessions

10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.:  Family Weekend Information Desk

Family Weekend Meal options:

10:00 a.m - 11:30 a.m.:  11th Annual Legacy Brunch and Pinning Ceremony (Invitation only)

10:15 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.:  Sessions

10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.:  Admissions information session for Family Weekend and Homecoming attendees led by an Emory Admissions Counselor. An optional admissions tour of campus led by a current student is from 11:30 to 12:45 with an optional reception to follow.

11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m.:  Curious George Meet & Greet, Barnes & Noble Bookstore, Oxford Road Building
Join Curious George for a children’s reading and activity time. 

11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.:  Sessions

11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Emory Alumni Authors Showcase
Meet and greet with our Emory alumni authors and learn more about their books.

  • Location: Asbury Circle/Dooley's Statue

Noon, 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.: Curious George Meet and Greets at the Emory Bookstore. Children’s section, First Floor. 

1:00 p.m.:  Cookie Social at Barnes & Noble Bookstore, Oxford Road Building 
Come satisfy your sweet tooth at the bookstore while you browse Emory Gift and Apparel.

12:30 p.m.: Homecoming Parade, Asbury Circle. Join President Claire Sterk in this entertaining Emory tradition!

1:00 p.m.:  Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Meet 

1:00 p.m.: Women's Soccer

1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Homecoming Festival and Concert. Open to all families. McDonough Field. Featured band is Plain White T’s!

8:00 p.m.: Emory Concert Choir: Direct Eric Nelson's Twentieth Anniversary 

Join the Concert Choir and its alums during Family Weekend for an evening of choral music celebrating Eric Nelson’s twentieth year as director.

Sunday, October 22

9:00 a.m. & 6:00 p.m. Catholic Mass, Cannon Chapel

11:00 a.m. Emory University Worship
