Family Weekend

Family Weekend 2020 will be virtual and will be held concurrently with Emory’s Homecoming October 22-25.

However, some events have been created just for families and include: 

  • Family Friday webinars on International study and global internships on Friday, October 23 at 1:00 pm
  • Undergraduate Research on Friday, October 23 at 4:00 pm
  • Skitfest hosted by the Office of Residence Life on Friday, October 23 at 8:00 pm.

And our feature event:

  • Conversations with President Fenves and University leaders on Sunday, October 25 at 3:00 pm

Zoom links will be sent to families via email for Family Weekend only events and will also be on the Family Portal and www.family.emory.edu webpage.

Emory Homecoming is hosted by both the Office of Advancement and Alumni and Constituent Engagement (AAE) and the Student Programming Council (SPC).

Events and programs are varied and include speakers, showcases, and entertainment.

Families are invited to take full advantage of all Homecoming activities.

Featured Homecoming events include: SPC’s Talent Show on Thursday, October 22, Saturday’s Musical Showcase, and two showcases: “The Winning Mindset:  Overcoming Adversity and Demonstrating Perseverance” with Emory Athletics Community on Saturday, October 24 at 8:00 pm and “A Day in the Life: Learn About the Student Experience During the Unique Circumstances of the 2020 Academic Year” on Sunday, October 25 at noon.

Registration is required for Homecoming events in order to receive event codes.

Register for free at homecoming.emory.edu to experience the growing line up of featured events, from film screenings, to special lectures and conversations hosted by Emory faculty, alumni, and special guests. Emory Family Programs will send this link out via email, too.
