Oxford College Family Weekend

Each year, Family Weekend brings students and families together in celebration at Oxford.

Oxford Family Weekend gives family and friends a taste of college life for their student in a weekend equal parts fun and informational. From game night, to student performances, to the Fun Run and Picnic on the Quad, families enjoy this uniquely Oxford event, which includes a chance to choose your own adventure while exploring the campus and the surrounding community. 

This year, Oxford College Family Weekend is October 25–27, 2024Most of our programming will be on Saturday, October 26, to accommodate your travels. 

Similar to New Student Orientation, we will be using the Emory Welcome App as our guide for Family Weekend at Oxford College. It will include the schedule of events, resources for the weekend, and any required registration links. We can't wait to see you there!

Schedule Overview

Registration for Family Weekend is free and required for attendees so we can plan accordingly. Please know the most important aspect of Family Weekend is that you can spend time with your student. Students are excited to show you their campus home, and we are excited to welcome you back to campus. 

Register for Family Weekend, the Annual Family Picnic, and Shabbat.

Registration will close at 11:59 p.m. (ET) on October 9. 

Join Oxford’s Center for Healthful Living in the promotion of a healthy lifestyle. The Oxford College Family Weekend 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run winds through the streets of Oxford and culminates on the quadrangle of the college, the birthplace of Emory University.

Whether you are a competitive runner or a beginner, we invite you to join us. The 1 Mile Fun Run is about having fun! Bring the family and enjoy the morning. The run/walk is stroller friendly. You may also bring your pet, but remember a leash.
