Emory Parent Council
The Emory Parent Council (EPC) is the university’s premier opportunity for parent engagement. This dedicated group of parent leaders strengthens the Emory community by supporting university priorities, championing student success, and helping create meaningful connections among Emory families. Thanks to the generosity of families like yours, the EPC helps fund scholarships, recruit world-renowned faculty, and support transformative leadership programming for students.
What Does the Emory Parent Council Do?
Emory Parent Council members:
- Serve as ambassadors for Emory, helping to strengthen relationships between the university and both current and prospective families
- Volunteer and host regional and campus events throughout the academic year
- Offer valuable insight and feedback to Emory leadership from the parent perspective

Becoming a Member:
Members of the Emory Parent Council make an annual gift of $10,000 or more to the Parent Fund or a designated university priority.
- The Council meets twice a year—once in the fall during Family Weekend, and again in the spring.
- Membership is for a two-year renewable term, with many families choosing to stay involved throughout their student’s time at Emory.
